Boulder Public Library Invites Cafe Operator Proposals

The Boulder Public Library seeks a food and beverage service vendor to operate a cafe in the Main Library located at 1001 Arapahoe Ave.

Interested candidates must demonstrate at least one year of experience in operating a food and beverage service. Minimum requirements for the cafe include a variety of prepared or pre-packaged daily food and beverage service menu items that appeal to a range of ages and price points. Incentives include:

Desired services include a locally sourced menu with basic lunch items, service as the liquor manager for the library’s Arts Liquor license, catering for City events, and collaboration with the library to hold fundraising activities for local nonprofits and to contribute to library programs that integrate food and beverage service, which the operator will be reimbursed for.
