City Yard Waste Programs Resume on April 1

City of Gillette recently issued the following announcement.

The Yard Waste Drop-off facility, located at 3101 South Garner Lake Road, will re-open on Friday, April 1, 2022. This year, the facility will be open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drop off of material at the facility is free of charge.

Biosolids compost, yard waste compost and wood chips will be available for sale for $20 per cubic yard. Payment must be received by debit or credit card upon pickup of material.

Construction at the adjacent Wastewater Treatment Plant is ongoing. Residents are advised to be patient and alert for construction traffic.

Curbside Yard Waste Pickup will also resume for the season on Friday, April 1. Yard Waste pickup corresponds with each neighborhood trash collection day. If you are not signed up, but would like to participate, contact Customer Service at (307) 686-5206. The cost of the service is $9.60 per month for 8 months (April through November).
