Learners Exploring Academic Dreams (LEAD) on November 9

Truman Pierce Institute will host the LEAD event with local high school students from Loachapoka High School and Notasulaga High School. The events are held throughout the year. The LEAD program provides an opportunity for the students to explore Auburn’s campus and tour various college departments. The students’ time is spent learning more about college life and the college majors offered by the university. The students participate in sessions on: admissions, financial aid, goal setting/planning, teamwork, communication, leadership, diversity, civility, soft skills, college and career readiness activities. Students sessions are conducted by staff, college students, and college professors.
