Washington, DC – Congresswoman Harriet Hageman voted in favor of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2025. The bill includes four amendments offered by Representative Hageman and language to delist the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem Grizzly Bear.
Rep. Hageman stated, “The Interior Appropriations Act passed by the House of Representatives today is a huge victory for Wyoming, and for America. Three of my top priorities; Delisting the GYE Grizzly, and blocking the BLM from implementing their destructive resource management plans in Rock Springs and Buffalo, were incorporated in this bill. With its passage we are ensuring that the federal government cannot stop us from using our land and the resources on it, and we are putting the state in control of species management."
“Also included in this bill are amendments that I offered to stop the BLM from finalizing a solar plan that would have severely and negatively impacted our trona industry, and to block the creation of a duplicative ‘Office of Agricultural and Rural Affairs’ with the EPA – an agency that has failed our state."
“With the passage of the Interior Appropriations Act, Republicans in Congress have taken much needed action to stop the extreme agenda of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”
