Meet Laura Burton, CNA at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. Certified Nursing Assistants help patients or long-term care residents with their healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). CNA’s play a significant role in relaying information about the condition of patients or residents to other members of the healthcare team, since they have the most constant contact with patients. CNA responsibilities include maintaining patient hygiene, supporting doctors and nurses in medical procedures and technical treatments, patient charting, and explaining care instructions.
Laura began her career at CCH in Environmental Services in 2013, and later trained to become a CNA. She has worked at The Legacy since 2019.
Laura loves coming to work and seeing the residents she cares for. It gives her pride to make a difference in people’s lives, and she always has a great attitude.
Laura is married and has three children, plus an adored black Lab. She likes to go fishing, camping and spend time with her family.
