Campbell County Health recently issued the following announcement.

Meet Lorri Lang, PBX operator (switchboard operator) at Campbell County Health. Lorri answers calls that come in on the main CCH phone line (307-688-1000), and helps patients and visitors with their questions as they present to her window in the Main Lobby. She also does overhead paging as needed, and organization-wide responses to fire alarms and other codes.

Lorri has worked at Campbell County Health for 14 years. Her husband’s grandfather wanted Lorri to go to nursing school, but at the time her children were young and they were her first priority.  Although she never made it to nursing school, she is glad that she interviewed for her current position and is happy to be where she is today.

Lorri was inspired by her former supervisor in the Patient Accounting department, Missy Poloncic; saying, “Missy was so upbeat and positive in every way. She was always there to answer any questions and if she didn’t know the answer, she would do some research and answer it to the best of her ability. I found Missy to be very encouraging”.

Lorri loves her current manager Angie Eldridge and her co-workers, calling them an ‘amazing’ team. Seeing the patients and customers come to her window and visit gives her pride in her work.  “I have worked here long enough to create some relationships with them and I think it gives them comfort in seeing familiar faces”, says Lorri. “I just happen to be one of them”.

To Lorri, Excellence Every Day means providing the best service and care for patients, each and every day.

She is very busy outside of work, riding horses with her husband and taking her four Aussies on trail rides wherever and whenever she can. She also takes photographs of the beautiful landscapes in the area, and CCH has purchased some of her photos as silent auction prizes for community fundraising events. Lorri also loves to sew and craft. She has four children and 13 grandchildren, and makes spending time with them a priority.

Thank you, Lorri, for helping to take great care of the patients and visitors you encounter every day at Campbell County Health. We appreciate all that you do.
