Campbell County Health recently issued the following announcement.

Meet Sarah Gleason, Certified Medical Assistant in Campbell County Medical Group’s Family Medicine Clinic. Medical assistants are often the first and last person a patient interacts with, making a lasting impact on the patient experience.

Sarah holds Associate Degrees in Health Science and Psychology; and Child Care Development. She is also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and an EMT-B. She’ worked in healthcare and caring for others since 2002, and has been at CCH for 4 ½ years.

When she was younger Sarah experienced illnesses and hospitalizations, but the care she received from compassionate nurses made her stays more comfortable. Their kindness inspired her to provide care to others.

Sarah’s healthcare hero is Kid Clinic Nurse Practitioner Holly Hink. Sarah says that Holly is truly a genuine provider and cares for pediatric patients with her whole heart and has the knowledge to take care of them. The way she cares for them day in and day out with her smiling happy face is an inspiration.

She feels the most pride in her work when her patients express that they have received compassionate care during their visits.

“I love being at the Main Clinic,” says Sarah. “My providers and coworkers are what make the days not so heavy, even when they are demanding.”

For Sarah, Excellence Every Day means communication, compassion and caring for patients to the best of her ability.

When she’s not working, Sarah loves to be outdoors with her family and animals. Swimming, fishing and art are her favorite hobbies.

Thank you, Sarah, for taking great care of your patients every day at Campbell County Health. We appreciate all that you do.
