May is Better Speech and Hearing Month
May is designated as Better Speech and Hearing Month to raise awareness about communication disorders. Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) work with children and adults who have speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders. A person’s ability to communicate effectively and eat safely are important to their livelihood and quality of life.

Food Allergy Testing
Anyone who has had allergy testing in the past has probably been through the experience of going to a lab and having blood collected from their arm, with the blood tested separately for each allergen, (the substance that may be causing the allergic reaction)
