Nominations are now open for the 2023 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics in Northern Colorado and Wyoming and will be awarded on April 27th, 2023 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, CO. The 2023 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics will also be part of BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming's year-long 40th anniversary celebration.

City of Boulder Offering Two Grant Opportunities for the Arts and Culture Workforce with $915,000 in ARPA Funding
City of Boulder Office of Arts and Culture is offering Arts Administration Rehiring Grants and Artist Hiring Incentive Grants designed to respond to arts industry, COVID-related workforce impacts through targeted grants to arts and culture organizations. Funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), these grants are enhancements to rehire arts administration positions that were eliminated due to the pandemic, and to employ Boulder-area visual, performing, and literary artists to perform or create new work.

Meet Jolene Barth, PPC
Jolene Barth’s clients say she has a huge heart. Jolene recently joined Behavioral Health Services (BHS) as a counselor, and sees children and adolescents both individually and in group therapy. She started out as an elementary school teacher, but was looking to make a bigger impact by working one-on-one with kids. As a Provisional Professional Counselor (PPC), she helps children with social skills and coping skills, using techniques like play therapy, art therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); which teaches people how to redirect emotions, or think before doing.

City Chooses Consultant to Assist With Final Work on the Reimagine Policing Plan
The City of Boulder announced today that it will partner with the National Policing Institute (NPI) to design and implement a strategic process for collecting feedback from the Boulder community on the Reimagine Policing (Update to the Police Department Master Plan) plan. This process will coincide with the release of a draft version of this plan later this summer.
